Shedding the Self 2014
Harris focuses on the process of meditation and the act of breathing, something we do over 21,000 times a day. The work, a three-dimensional zoetrope shows how complete focus on the breath can lead to awareness of the core, a meditative state where the self becomes nothing and the physical world ceases to exist.
